Why did you join the BA Program?
I saw these dope shoes floating around the internet, always accompanied by an awesome quote from people explaining the BANGS mission. I decided to order a pair that kept catching my eye (Sahara Sands ht), and I fell IN LOVE with them. I got so hyped about the company that when I heard about the BA program, I jumped at the opportunity. I was excited to join so I could meet awesome new people with similar interests, while knowing I was contributing to the greater goal of the BANGS mission: giving back.
What is your favorite lesson from being in the BA Program?
In the past few years, I've become quite shy and introverted. By joining BANGS, I've been able to get out of my comfort zone and talk to people without much hesitation. The BA program gave me inspiration to think more creatively and positively. A lot of credit for that is due to the amazing mentors and other BA's that are in the program as well. This experience has helped me grow in many aspects of my life and is by far one of my favorite parts of being a BA.

Your happiness comes first, and it's okay to be selfish when it comes to your mental well-being. If you're not happy then you're the only person who can change that. An outlook on life is only what you make of it. I like to challenge myself by trying something new every day that scares me, whether that's public speaking, or eating a strange food. Each time you let go of your inhibitions, you become more like the person you want to be. :)
