May is almost over (woah) and we are super excited that all of the loans we backed are FULLY funded!
It is our pleasure to introduce you to Purisma, Majed, and Sulaiman.
Purisma lives in a Philippines and has owned and operated a transportation business for three years.
Her husband is the one who transports the motorcycle in the community. They both help each other to sustain the daily needs of their family.
Purisma is requesting a loan in the amount of PHP 10,000 to buy spare parts for her business so that they can maintain the up keep of their motorcycle. This loan will enable them to have a business that prospers.
Majed lives in Iraq and is a 34 year old father to four children. He has a small shop selling seeds and fertilizers. Majed has a very smart son in primary school. He is requesting a loan to pay for his son’s tuition fees and other school expenses.
Each year it is very difficult for Majed to make ends meet and at the beginning of the school year he is worried he will not be able to pay for his children’s education. Like every parent around the world, Majed wants his children to have the best education available, thus giving his children greater opportunity for a successful future.
