Letter from our Founder
Hello hello! My name is Hannah Davis.
I founded BANGS Shoes when I was 22 years old and had only ever worked 2 types of jobs: almost everything front-of-house in restaurants (hostess, waitress, bartender) and English teacher in China.
When we sold our first pair of shoes I had zero business experience and knew close to nothing about shoes.
After over a decade of mistakes, regrets, rejection, collaboration, celebration, creativity, success, failure, and everything in between, I’m so proud to say we have evolved.
Lots of times I still feel like I don’t know what I’m doing, but BANGS is now supported by a small team with over 10 years of experience in product development and community building.
I’m so proud of the entire BANGS team who work every single day to create products and a brand to inspire our community.
We have a website filled to the brim with items featuring our favorite mountains, flowers, and more. If you join our email community we'll send you adventure ideas, outfit inspiration, and more. If you join our text community we build collaborative Spotify playlists together, host random acts of kindness challenges, and so much more.
I hope that when you leave this space and wear the products we build, you also feel inspired to keep learning and creating your own adventures.
